Practice

The bowling group does not have organized practices outside of league play.

Series

Corporate Leagues:
Matches in the 1st and 2nd divisions consist of three series played by 4-person teams, while the 3rd division plays three series with 3-player teams. The season comprises 18–22 matches, with play taking place at Dora 1 – Bowling & Biljard: Mondays for the 1st and 3rd divisions, and Thursdays for the 2nd division.

For the 2026/27 season, NTNU-BIL is fielding one team in the 3rd Division and one in the 2nd Division. The goal for the league season is to recruit enough players to field at least two teams while also improving the teams' standings in their respective divisions.

Internal League:
The internal league is based on the results each player achieves in matches within the regular corporate league.

Club Championship:
The NTNU-Bil club championship is held in early May, following the conclusion of the corporate league season. The championship is open to all NTNU-Bil members, including those who do not participate in the corporate league. Handicaps—in the form of added points—are applied based on the season's league average to balance out differences in throwing ability during the championship.

Other tournaments:
There are several tournament opportunities at Dora1 that allow you to get to know other players in Trondheim. Individual 6-game and 4-game tournaments are scheduled throughout the season. All tournaments count towards selection for the inter-city match, which takes place in late April at a bowling center either in Norway or abroad.

Use the registration form for the NTNU Corporate Sports Club and select the group "NTNU-BIL Bowling".

We use Spond for communication and signup to practice and matches.

Social

Meetings can be held with other teams in the corporate league.
